GrX Vision and Mission

Vision: Transformation. Our vision is to be a vibrant, healthy church that partners with God in transforming multiethnic people into committed followers of Jesus Christ who live in community for the cause of loving each other and serving locally and globally.

Mission: Connect. Build. Serve. To connect multiethnic and diverse people relationally to Jesus Christ and to each another and to build them in love through the gospel so that they can serve locally and globally.

GrX Core Values:

Connect. At GrX we want to connect multiethnic non-believers and believers to God through the Gospel of Jesus. We believe all the essentials of life are provided in the Gospel. Through Christ's death, we are freed from guilt and eternal punishment. Through the Resurrection, we receive new life, significance, and worth. For these reasons, we are compelled to connect all people from all races and creed to God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Build. We believe in building others up in love through the Gospel. In the gospel, we find all the nutrients for a vibrant, healthy relationship with God and with others. As people see their inadequacy before a holy God, we believe the grace of God enables them to grow in Christ's likeness. As a result we seek to be a grace-based home for the lost, bewildered, and spiritually malnourished. Through His grace, we hope to be a non-judgmental community characterized by humility, gentleness, and love.

Serve. We believe every person has at least one gift through which he/she is to serve God and people. We acknowledge that a growing church is a serving church. We believe, as our Lord modeled in the scriptures (John 13), that greatness is marked by servanthood. We believe God has called each of us to have the attitude of a servant. As leaders then, we believe we are charged to equip the body of Christ to be servant leaders (Ephesians 4:12). To this end, we believe local and overseas missions are a natural by-product of loving God.
