Who we are: Our small group is a wide variety of students, young adults and couples who have come together to learn about each other and to seek God.
What we're about: Cheese desires a community that builds and encourages its' members to grow in their relationship with Christ. Like the conditions that produce a finely aged cheese, we seek to create an environment conducive to continuous spiritual fermentation (growth), focusing on the following areas: biblically based studies, individual and corporate prayer, meaningful fellowship, outreach and service, and discipleship training.
What and Why we do: We enjoy laughing at cheesy remarks, jokes and anecdotes. But our primary focus is to have a deep level of fellowship where we can spur each other in growth. Bible studies, prayer groups and accountability groups all help with our journey in discovering God's action plan for our lives. Within our weekly meetings you'll find times where we read the bible, pray, eat, sing, have friendly conversations and get to know people on a deeper level.
Here is the formula to making good cheese..
Good food + stinky cheese + plenty of parking + warm friendly people + a foosball table and basketball hoop = It's a Gouda.
